Knitting is not as easy as MeMaw makes it seem. I’ve spent the last
few hours trying to make the yarn look nice on a needle and I’m glad I
chose RED as my first color. Maybe I’ll get a pot holder by 2012.

Not bad traveling this break.  We had two very bumpy landings going to Chicago but the rest was smooth from there.  

Sooooooo many babies!!!!  My friend David G showed off his little girl on Wednesday and it was all boogie wipes and diapers until today. Good times.

We stayed at Jim and Bev’s house in Bloomington for the week.  Bloomington is cold.  Very cold for us in Dallas anyway.  Great food, good times.  Thanks Bev & Jim!!!

We also got to see my ma and grandma with my oldest brother and his family.  It was touching.  

For now, we’re stuck in KC while Southwest plays three card monty with the delayed aircraft.  I’m guessing the queen is still in the air but we’ll be home soon enough.
